TOWN BATTLE ON!!!
After an hour long pitch inspection, Wycombe Town finally got to play Unity Nirankari FC in the FA Carlsberg National Sunday Cup. The hard and slippery pitch was difficult to master in the early stages but Town started to put some passes together and were soon two up and heading for half time, a few seconds left on the clock and Unity got a goal back with and unstopable shot from the right to make it 2-1 at half time. Unity came out strong in the second half and kept Town in their own half for long periods of time but Town held firm, made one or two changes and it paid off, with a two goal period to wrap up the tie 4-1 and progress to a home game next Sunday 7th February, in the forth round, to meet Lebec Tavern.

SUNDAY 24th JANUARY
Wycombe Town FC stars today are the Reserves who progressed through to the next round of the Berks & Bucks Junior Cup with a hard fought battling performance to beat Merrymakers FC 3-1 away at Slough.
Both the first team and 'A' teams games were postponed.

SUNDAY 24th JANUARY
Training should be back on this Wednesday at Wye Valley School Astro if the weather is good, meet at 7.20pm.
All games were postponed again last weekend but we are hopefull that this weeks fixtures will go ahead!!!

At this time Midday, 14th January, Wycombe Town's FA Sunday Cup match is still on and will take place at Hitchin Town FC's pitch, kick off 1.00pm.

Wycombe Town FC v Unity Nirankari, switches to
Hitchen Town's Ground. 
'One for all and all for one!'
Wycombe Town Reserves are away to Merrymakers Old Boys in the Berks & Bucks Junior Cup whilst Wycombe Town 'A' Team entertain Longwick at Holtspur.
